Description:
We are looking for sunglasses that have the design heavily influenced by Pit Vipers 2000s model. We expect these glasses to be worn by competitive marksmen and sharp shooters. We would like to heavily borrow inspiration from the design as we are looking for flashy retro ballistic sun glasses. Our company is called Hawk Eyes
Wants:
Hawk Eyes is the name of our company, we are looking for glasses that are retro (or patriotic) and flashy, something the 2nd amendment community could really get behind. For reference these are something we would like our glasses to look similar to
www.pitviper.com/collections/the-pit-viper-2000s
Glasses must be able to meet ANSI z87.1 standards.
We would like a model/ 3D CAD files so we can start the prototyping process ASAP.
Don't Wants:
Boring basic sunglasses. Flimsy. Break Easy.

hey how do I hide my designs screenshots

Hi,
Can you tell us something?
Sure @siddharthd
May I make it in blender software?
For those designers who do not have access to PayPal because of your country of origin, please see here: https://www.cadcrowd.com/help/designers/how-do-i-get-paid/.
3,5% fee and 5$ for early withdrawal or free at the end of month isn&
;t that much.

In addition to koddesign comment, I wish and I suggest cadcrowd add cryptocurrency to it&
;s payout option.... Paypal fees are crazy high in comparison to other alternatives!

nice! i´m in!;D
I would love to participate in this competition, but the obstacle in front of me is that if my work is liked and accepted, I cannot receive payment from you because Paypal does not work in Turkey, if there were Payoneer and other options in the payment system, I would definitely participate
Well, that&
;s an interesting competition. In order for your desired specifications to be met as accurately as possible, some extra clarifications would be really useful:
1) How do you define glasses as being "patriotic"? Is there any specific design feature you require for that?
2) When you say "something the 2nd amendment community could really get behind" what exactly do you mean, in terms of product design? Could you clarify to which communities are you referring to? Are you referring to the so-called "Second Amendment Sanctuaries" which according to wikipedia are "a state, county or locality in the United States that has adopted laws or resolutions that oppose, or purport to prohibit or impede, law enforcement agencies within that state, county or locality from assisting in the enforcement of certain gun control measures enacted by other governmental bodies" practically meaning they are refusing to adhere to state or federal "gun safety laws"? Any input or extra references would be really useful in the design process.

I will work on many concepts on ai and if haven’t problem with you i will show ,depend your preference i will continue it with 3d one or more concepts
We are a brand new company out of Idaho. We would like 3D models in STEP or IGES format or STL Files because we would like to start prototyping printing them out soon after the contest ends and start working out the kinks so we can start mass producing next year hopefully.
where is a company located and illustrator works is accepted
thanks for the contest w&
;ll be working for your requirements.

Safety Glasses Clippable Heads-Up Warning Device
Design a product concept for a warning system which clips to a users safety glasses to provide audible and visual warnings of nearby workplace hazards. Module should clip-on existing modern safety glasses. There should be a warning light in the user’s peripheral vision and speaker aimed down towards users ear. (Optional) forward facing flashlight. Include 1 push-button for “snoozing” warnings, and another push-button for the flashlight.
Wearable Pill Storage and Managment
Hi Everyone!
We are excited to see what the community comes up with! Thank you for your amazing designs. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Overview:
In essence, it's a bracelet that holds multiple days worth of a medication and has some of our custom hardware in it. (hardware is roughly .5" by .75", but will become smaller in the future). Please see sketches for further information
Design:
We would like to be able to store different types of pills in different parts of the bracelet. I've included some very rough concepts of my own, but I am by no means a designer or artist and need help figuring out the best way to do this. The CAD image is something that I quickly made for a first prototype a while ago. It is inefficient in terms of storage and very clunky - not what we are going for. An innovative design is the primary thing that we are looking for. We aren't particularly concerned at this point in time if it has fancy waves on the outside, crystals, or beveled edges. It is still important for the bracelet to be aesthetic, but the "jewelry" aspect of this can be done at a later time. It is far more important that we maximize the number of pills that it can hold without having a massive and uncomfortable bracelet. Furthermore, one concept that we are considering is to have a core bracelet that has our hardware in it and then supplementary 'bands' of the medication. We are open to other design options if you think you have something more optimal! If you only have one medication, then there either would only be one band or there can be place holder pieces/blanks that would go in the places if you were to have multiple medications.
Mechanisms:
Access to the pill should be fairly user friendly. I've thought about many different designs, all ranging from individual compartments with covers, one large cover that snaps over, a sliding cover, and even a spring loaded mechanism that pushes out the pills one at a time. I understand that it will be a bit more difficult to make this bracelet compact. Ideally it would hold 1 weeks worth of medication. With that being said, it would be even better if the bracelet held multiple medications, but that is more pills.
Pills:
The type of pill is something that we're currently working with. The larger pills are about 22mm in the greatest dimension. Most pills are circular or oval shaped. The median is approximately 15 mm. Things like birth control, heart medication, seizure medication, etc.
Sports Timing Transponder
We have designed a 2.4 GHz transponder that is used for sports timing. We require a plastic housing to be designed for this small wearable device.
The PCB has a solar cell on one side and a small 40 mAh LiPo battery on the other.
The transponder is used in running, cycling and Triathlon type events, so we need it to be completely waterproof, we prefer that the unit is ultrasonically welded to form a hermetically sealed product.
The transponder will need to worn by runners, attached to bicycle forks, attached onto ankle straps, etc. An approach we would like to take with the design is to allow for the transponder itself to have a minimalistic design with a universal mounting option that allows for it to be attached to a separately designed Bike mount, or wrist strap.
Ie: the Bike Mount would be a separate design that cable ties (zip ties) to the front fork of a bicycle, then the transponder clips onto or locks into the bike mount. This would allow for future designed mounting accessories, while keeping the transponder design standard.
The design considerations include:
- The housing must be completely waterproof (Hermetically sealed). We would prefer that the unit is sealed with ultrasonic welding.
- We use a solar cell on the top of the PCB to charge the small LiPo battery, so there should be a transparent section in the housing to allow for light to reach the solar cell so that the LiPo remains charged.
I have attached an image of the transponder as well as an STL file of the PCB Assembly. We can send further information and output files as required.
Hard-Hat Clipable Safety Notification System (#3)
Please help us design our next-generation hard-hat mounted safety system which provides visual and audible alerts to the user when they are approaching danger.

Create Ten Custom Glasses
Submit 10 OnShape assembly files (each pair of glasses must have a unique front part but should have the same arms)
Each one should be a different style (See attached photos for styes.)
(1)Aviator
(1)Cat eye
(2)Oval
(2)Round
(2)Square
(1)Kids
(1)Other - be creative!
Submit 5 renderings of each pair with clear and dark lenses (10 renderings total) with the following views:
*Head-on
*45 degrees
*side view
*overhead
*ISO)
*******IMPORTANT*******
This design must be easy to modify. The workflow and feature organization of the parts is as important as the final shape.
The following two measurements should be driven by a single variable in OnShape:
https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/variable.htm
*the width of the glasses
*the bridge of the glasses
These two dimensions should DRIVE the width of the frames. When the width of the frame changes its shape should scale uniformly to accommodate the change.
See the attached picture for a better explanation. You can submit your glasses with dimensions anywhere in between the max and min. Just make sure the glasses still look good at the max and min sizes. (Scale all dimensions down by 20% for kids glasses)
Arms and Hinges
**please keep these designs the same for all of the glasses.
The straight part of the arm should also be driven by a variable. Keep the curved part by the ear the same. "picture" example: ___/ will be lengthened to look like _____/
The hinge design should be based on the attached picture. However, there should be countersinks on the top and bottom of the hole to accommodate this screw with a 6mm shaft length.
www.zoyeglassesparts.com/spectacle-screws-internal-thread-m-1-4-2-5mm-height-tsn-007.html
Please use the "hole feature" when designing the hole and countersinks so they can be modified later if needed. These do not need to be driven by a variable.
Lastly, these will be plastic hinges, the nose pads should be part of the plastic frame and do not need to be easy to edit. (see picture)
Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
